ABOUT KAITLYN
Kaitlyn Hennessy grew up in Westlake Village, California. She had her training business in Hidden Valley for many years before moving to Legacy Ranch in Somis, California.
Kaitlyn specializes in individual training customized to each rider. Her students, both human and equine, hail from a variety of equestrian backgrounds. Kaitlyn's students often remark on her distinct ability to help them overcome their physical limitations and find innovative ways to teach classical dressage principles within those boundaries. She also works closely with veterinarians and farriers to provide comprehensive rehabilitation for horses needing rehab as well as special needs retirees and horses needing long term care. At Legacy Ranch in Somis, CA, Kaitlyn runs a boutique training business with a limited clientele, which ensures customized and individual attention for each and every horse and human.
Kaitlyn's clients hail from Encino, West Hills, West LA, Hollywood, Camarillo, Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks, and Oxnard.
Kaitlyn is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist, attained on horses she trained herself. A longtime dressage rider, Kaitlyn has trained and shown a variety of horses from many breeds at all levels, including Taipan (NATBS HOY 2007), Venturo (American Trakehner Performance Silver recipient, USDF Second Level Jr/YR Regional Champion at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center), Juliet Dawson (American Morgan Dressage Horse 2nd Level Champion), and Anatazi X (Arabian through I-1).
